We are excited to welcome Jason Ciesla to the Black Gold Organization Design Staff!
Jason Alexander is an active choreographer and designer in the pageantry arts. Jason has been involved since early 2006 in Orlando FL, where he worked with numerous programs including Lake Howell high school and Winter Park high school. Jason has also been one of the key components at Park Vista high school from 2013-2016, writing choreography for the color guard and marching band. He currently teaches at West Broward High School, training students and writing choreography for all winter programs (A and World) as well as the 4A state champion marching band.
Jason’s drum corps experience includes being a performing member of the Boston Crusaders (2007) and Carolina Crown (2008-2009). After aging out with the Carolina Crown in 2009 with a Silver Medal, Jason has taught at the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (2010-2012) and The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and bugle Corps (2013-2016).
Jason has also spent many years performing in several winter guard programs such as, The Knights World in 2007, Northeast Independent 2008 (WGI World Class Bronze medalist), 09, 10, and Braddock Independent World 2012 and 2013. Jason also performed in Taiwan, December of 2015 with The Santa Clara Vanguard during their international tour.
To Jason, color guard is not just a hobby, it is his life. Color guard has introduced him to amazing people, which have formed into amazing friendships. It taught him responsibility, self-confidence, and created unforgettable experiences and with that, he is beyond grateful. This will be Jason's first year with the Black Gold Organization and we are so excited to have him with us!
